Same tree, two pictures, vastly different.

     These two shots above are of the same exact tree taken about a week apart.  Now they were taken at different times, and the obvious difference is one is a color shot and one is black and white.  But the mood and feeling of the shots are totally different.  

     The color version is so stunning with the red sky, and I just want to sit under that tree and watch the sun come up.   I can almost feel the suns rays warming me as it crests over the horizon.

     The other version makes me feel cold and conveys the barrenness winter.  It makes me want to come back and see the tree in spring when it has been reborn. 

     Check out what happens when I convert the color shot to black and white. Again, very different.
